Power Plant 2000 Graduates
WCW.com put up a link today about the Power Plant graduates of 2000 heres what it had to say about our favourite Thrillers.
Mark Jindrak
Don't let Mark Jindrak's pretty boy looks fool you, folks. Alongside fellow Plant graduate Sean O'Haire, Jindrak made an immediate impact in tag team competition and held the division's tag titles. Like O'Haire, Jindrak employs his strength -- but the former basketball star prefers to utilize his balance and leaping ability. After pummeling opponents with his impressive aerials, Jindrak usually ends his matches with a Crucifix Neckbreaker. Power Plant fact: Due to Jindrak's high-flying skills, WCW's creative team considered turning him into a cruiserweight bully.
Sean O'Haire
When Sean O'Haire walked into the Power Plant, Paul Orndorff proclaimed the youngster the next Bill Goldberg. O'Haire proved to be just as strong, but also displayed an uncanny ability for flight. When the Natural Born Thrillers first assembled, Sean O'Haire quickly established himself as the group's unstoppable enforcer. With the help of his Seanton Bomb, O'Haire attained tag gold with Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo. On the singles front, O'Haire has one of the most impressive records in the company. Power Plant fact: O'Haire won 17 Toughman Competitions while living in North Carolina.
Mike Sanders
When the Natural Born Thrillers bullied their way onto television, Mike Sanders -- the group's smallest member -- took the microphone, and control of WCW. "Above Average" Mike Sanders did more than make challenges for his NBT brethren -- he gave the group a voice and an attitude. Sanders' abilities on the stick led to a successful run as WCW commissioner, and feuds against The Cat and the legendary Ric Flair. Power Plant fact: At the request of WCW's creative team, Sanders changed his hair color three times in three weeks. No one told the grappler about temporary dye.
